Another Scrappy Bearpaw Quilt! I had a lot of fun with this one! It is just so so full of a lot of favourite fabrics. I included a bit of everything.
The first block I made was the blue in the top left corner. Then I started adding in greens for a couple blocks, then moved into yellows etc. and then in the bottom corner started back into blues again. I think this color gradation is a fun extra that doesn’t scream at you but gives the quilt a flow or something? That doesn’t seem like the right word, but I often find that if a quilt needs something a little more, laying it out in rainbow order adds something special.
I decided to send out a couple of quilts for long arm quilting again, so this was one of them. It’s also backed with a white plush fabric, so it is warm and heavy! It’s big enough for a twin bed or to cover a couple people on the couch!

Is this one made with 3.5 inch blocks? You gave cutting directions for the last bear paw, but this bigger. It’s a STUNNER!
I think the squares are the same size, I just made more blocks… although both of them are sold now so I can’t say for sure. I need to keep better track!
