this would have been so appropriate for Valentine’s Day, right?! actually though, i’m not a big fan of holidays so this was not intended to coincide with the February 14th at all.
ever since i made this heart quilt, i knew i would revisit it again. and of course the logical colors for a heart would be red…
i made this one with 5″ squares so it ends up being 69″x69″, a nice big lap size. and because i’m a little bit crazy, i decided to cut a few more squares while i was at it. there are a few fabric square bundles in my shop. i cut them all at the same time, so they should all have the same fabrics as mine.

Last year I participated in a low volume swap. I could use them for the background in a quilt like this. Yay!
Thanks for yet more inspiration.

wonderful. Someday I'll have to try that, too. The squares would be a nice start as I don't have so many light prints. What a great idea to offer them.

I love this quilt and am going to make 3 of them. One for each of my daughters (2) and one for my darling daughter-in-law. They all deserve one and I now have the 3 1/2" die for my Accuquilt Baby Go so I'm going to go upstairs and start working on them. Thanks for sharing and giving me a kick up the you know where with yours.

Your bundles are gone! Such a great idea for those of us without huge stashes – specially in those low volume fabrics!
