Criss Cross AppleSauce. That’s the name of this quilt pattern from a book by Bonnie K. Hunter Scraps & Shirttails II. I have two of the Scraps and Shirttails books, and love them, although this is the only pattern I’ve made yet. If you don’t know about Bonnie Hunter, she’s got a great website called Quiltville, and is the original creator of the Scrappy Trip Around the World quilt block.
I backed it with a Cotton and Steel double gauze in a warm peachy pink, so it’s very soft.
I have a backup of a few quilts that need to be added to my shop so I’ll be showing them to you in the next couple days!

I ADORE this quilt! Beautiful choices for colors…soft but with punches of color. Oh, so pretty. I ordered Bonnie's book today, thank you for recommending it.

I am a huge Bonnie fan too. She's awesome and has done more for the quilt world than anyone I know. Your Criss Cross Applesauce quilt is beautiful. Did you make the blocks smaller? What size are they?
