I finished up this little quilt at least a month ago, but finally sharing it so I can add it to the linkup for the Fourth Quarter Finishalong. This top was in my pile to finish up, and I did it! Actually out of the 8 tops I included, only one didn’t get quilted. Since it was the king sized basket quilt, I wasn’t suprised!
Anyways, this quilt again uses the Carolina Chain block. The tutorial can be found on Quiltville’s site, and is great for using up small scraps as it uses 2″ squares and 2″x3.5″ rectangles.
I backed this one with a cream colored minky. Perfect for a baby quilt.
Edited to Add: Adding this to the Fourth Quarter Finishalong. Here’s my post with the original list of quilts to finish.

It looks so soft and cuddly. I love the greens you've used. Thank you for sharing the pattern. I definitely have a lot of fabrics in my scrap tub that would be a good size.

I love scrappy quilts and your style is delightful! I will be working on a Carolina Chain quilt soon in blues and whites, my second quilt of this design. The first one was a large Christmas throw made for a gift. I liked making it so much that I wanted to make another, and I rarely ever make the same quilt twice. I always look forward to your posts since they are so inspiring.

Love this quilt. I'm a beginner quilter and I must say, I keep seeing quilts that are 'not my thing' BUT then….I saw this quilt. It's made with colors that I would not have chosen, but it is so gorgeous. I'm learning so much about color. Wonderful color combinations and a pattern that highlights that….that's my quilty goal. You hit one out of the park with this one. Great job!
