Here are the first two blocks for my Sampler Quilt. The pattern booklet starts with the largest block at one end and progresses down to all the little 6″ blocks at the other end. I decided to start at both ends and work inwards. That way I can alternate making large and small blocks. This keeps it interesting as well as allowing me to use up my small fabric pieces on those little blocks while I’m going.
That top block is really big! It’s 36″ square, big enough for a baby quilt! The second one is a 6″ block, so cute and small!

I like what you're doing here! I have the pattern and was wondering how it would look using prints instead of solids since that's what I have the most of in my stash. I do love a scrappy quilt!

It looks lovely! I too was wondering how it would go with prints… do you have a colour palette in mind or just all out scrappy!

I just started my blocks yesterday. I really really wanted to use a square of my precious Ghastlies fabric (and I'm not even a fan of Halloween, but I do love the Ghastlies) so I started with an 18" blocks that had a 6" center. I had planned on using Cotton+Steel for mine to, but then I had this idea for the Halloween fabric so I'm excited. Your blocks look great!

Love that large block so much. I bought this pattern too. Who knows when I'll get to it. I still haven't made a Swoon quilt yet!

The pattern booklet is around $12. You can find them from different stores on Etsy if you search for them.
