Interrupting all my ‘summer quilt finish’ blog posts to show you what I’ve been dabbling with the last week.
I moved my sewing machine to my dining room table so that I could cut and sew for a few minutes here and there. It’s the little things that keep us sane and happy, right?!
You can buy kits to make a quilt exactly in these colors, or you can just purchase the pattern booklet. Of course the whole fun is picking fabrics, so I bought only the pattern.
We’ll see how long it takes to make it!!

I love that pattern too! I like that you're using printed fabrics. Can't wait to see the finished project.

I don't love sampler quilts and I am not drawn to this one. Until you finish yours, of course, at which time I'll go crazy and pin it and vow that it has to be my next project because it's so beautiful. Sigh.

I completely agree with you, I was immediately drawn to it, although I'm not a sampler girl either. I bought the pattern and am waiting for a good time (probably in 2015) to get started.

I've ordered the pattern, but like you, will add in some patterned fabric because I don't want it all to be solids. There's going to be so many variations of this quilt in a few months. I think I'll make it my major project of 2015. I still have to finish 2014's major project before I start on it.

I'm planning to start this one soon as my first all-solids quilt. Can't wait!
