A fun bunch of fabrics from FabricShack…
August blocks for do.Good Stitches. Such fun blocks!
For years I've dreamed of writing a book about quilting. The type of book that I've felt is completely missing from the quilting world. Â More photos and inspiration, and less technical details and pages of writing. Â I've tried to accomplish that with my first book, which is self published and full of quilts, simple patterns, lots of talk about the quilts... and well, maybe that's enough for this paragraph! Â Visit the blog post for more details!
NOTE! Â My book is now available on Amazon as well!
Love that postage stamp block. The colors are so bright and happy! I really want to make a whole blanket like that but it seems like so much sewing!
The little dress block is fantastic too!
Eeeek! I LOVE your do.Good Stitches blocks! They are perfect 🙂
That little girl block is too cute! Can't wait to see the finished quilt!
what a cute dress form block!
Wow, your colors and blocks are cheering me this Monday morning of grieving for a family killed in a plane crash yesterday. Thanks for showing.
Lovely fabrics and blocks. I wonder…what is a do.Good Stitches?
Your blocks look great! This is going to be an amazing quilt! Love that stash too!
Love, love, love! I live in Ohio, a 40 minute drive from Fabric Shack, and frequent visitor there as my mother lives in Waynesville, less than a five minute WALK from their store front. Beautiful work!
Lovely fabrics indeed! I love that block made up of all the little colourful squares.
Love those fabrics — especially that little bit of just wing it — love the red butterfly/flowers. =)
I came across your lovely blog today! You have such beautiful quilts! I feel inspired! I also live in Alberta, Airdrie to be exact. It's fun to find another local quilter!
Such a beautiful and bright post with all those gorgeous fabrics. In the bottom block, I think I have nearly every single one of those fabrics in my stash!
Gorgeous stack of fabrics! And I love those blocks– those will make such a great quilt!
I love those little owls peeking out of the postage stamp block. Too cute.
