I’m doing it! I’m showing my process, or progress is more like it. I’m too lazy right now to go on and on about the whys and hows.
Another quilty goal this year was to give my quilts some proper names. So far I’m stumped on this one. It seems summery and yummy, like icecream but the perfect name hasn’t occurred to me yet.
For years I've dreamed of writing a book about quilting. The type of book that I've felt is completely missing from the quilting world. Â More photos and inspiration, and less technical details and pages of writing. Â I've tried to accomplish that with my first book, which is self published and full of quilts, simple patterns, lots of talk about the quilts... and well, maybe that's enough for this paragraph! How about "Hopscotch"? A fun summer game usually played around ice cream! And the random squares make me think of it….. Very pretty!
