Peach is one color that I’ve never liked. And I thought I never would. Well, I still don’t love it. But I DO love the colors in this quilt!
It started out as this block. I had the background fabric (Essex Linen in Natural), the backing (Weekends by Erin McMorris), and the binding (Kona Mango), all stacked together for months.
I think the natural color and texture of this linen is what I like most. And that backing fabric was one of those that I would have NEVER picked up, but it was on a super sale somewhere, so I bought a yard. And the entire quilt was inspired by that piece!
I’ll show you some more of it once I get a chance. Seems like getting photos of these quilts takes as much time and effort as actually finishing them!
I agree with you as I also really don't like peach (just the color, lover the fruit) but this quilt looks fantastic and very contemporary which I really like.
me too! I never have been a big lover of peach!! But you pulled it off fabulously in this 🙂
Great quilt and I LOVE that you have a label with your blog name on it. Where do you get your labels from?

gosh Jolene, this is so sweet, you are so talented.
Beautiful quilting! it really adds such interest to that lovely linen background.
I love looking at your quilts. I too noticed your tags and they are just the sort Ive been looking for. Any suggestions on where to get them?
this is so lovely, thank you for sharing. i don't think i would have picked that fabric either without context, but you did an excellent job matching it with this quilt!
The quilt is lovely.
I chuckled at the comment on time-consuming photos because I totally agree. Writing a blog post is really quick, adding photos takes so much longer (not counting taking the photos, editing the photos, storing the photos, etc)!
I LOVE this quilt. Also I noticed your label that says Blue Elephant Stitches. I've been envisioning something similar for my quilts and was wondering where you got them made/how you made it?
so pretty! i think the peach is just perfect!
It's so beautiful and I love the circular quilting!
I love this quilt! Nice work!!
