Does anyone else remember Dottie Angel? She was the queen of granny chic home decor and I loved the crafts she made! That vintage style will continue to be my favorite, and this table runner/centerpiece reminds me just a little of that style.
It does include quite a few vintage trims and fabrics. It’s so simple to make a project like this! I save all my leftover strips of batting for these little quilts. Cut a piece of batting anywhere from 12”-16” wide, and 20”-36” long.
Lay your first strip of fabric right side up, about in the middle. Then continue in the method of quilt-as-you-go. After sewing each strip on, I’ll use a decorative stitch or a piece of trim over each seam to add lots of texture and interest.
