now finally some pics of this quilt. i cannot seem to figure out an easy and pretty way to show quilts larger than baby size. in desperation, i though of this idea. so i found a couple of cleanish rocks, and here’s the quilt.
you can read more about how this quilt started here. i’m quite happy with how it turned out. it will be so fun for a little girl somewhere. (it’s a twin size)
using up my stash on the back. oh, that feels so good.
i guess if the recipient is really mod, they can use this side instead! i can’t decide where to send it… Bumblebeans?
Texas Wildfires?
any ideas?
What about donating it in honor of the 100 quilts for kids challange? You can read all about it here: http://www.swimbikequilt.com/2011/09/100-quilts-for-kids-quilt-along-link-up.html

haha, I feel i have the same problem. It is so hard to get a pic of a larger quilt.
Your pink quilt is so pretty…some little girl will be tickled to receive it!
Aww wow I love this.. love the pink base but with all the bright colours! Very pretty blocks too 🙂
I love this quilt and I'm glad you're feeling more positive towards your circle quilt as it's lovely!
It's such a happy girlie quilt. It will surely make some little girl very happy indeed!
Your quilt is beautiful! I love the pinks! Some little girl (or big girl) will love this!
such a beautiful girls quilt, the colors are great!
I doubt there is a girl anywhere that would not love this!
Beautiful! (as usual)
You continue to encourage and inspire. Now to find (or make) the time……..
I'm making child size quilts right now as part of Kate's 100 quilts for kids. I know that those can be donated to any charity that you want. Both of those you mentioned seem like a really great place to send quilts. I know that the TX Wildfire drive is looking for twin size quilts in particular which may be a little harder to come by. The quilt looks great so someone will be super happy to receive it no matter where you send it.
I love your pink quilt! As a rule, I'm not drawn to sampler type quilts, but yours flows so beautifully. You've nudged me to try a sampler. Beautiful!
I like this one very much! I just donated my latest quilt to the Texas Wildfire Drive. The 100 quilts for Kids challenge is another one I looked into. Good luck, any girl will love it 🙂
I agree with everyone. This is a beautiful quilt and any little girl would be thrilled to have it. Thank you for sharing it.
very beautiful! very very beautiful!
Both the front and back are gorgeous. I like pieced back myself and what better way to use those pieces you have in your stash!
I try to most always leave something for a comment even though most aren't that original.
Oh, this is just a wonderful quilt!!
LOve it… its a happy quilt… hope it will bring you some smiles!!
Love the colors in this quilt – and your use of different blocks. Looks modern even though it's a sampler. Sometime I think that's hard to do. LOVE IT!
Fall quilt: are you kidding ? you made me buy the book ! I adore this quilt… And this one is gorgeous too
amazing amazing quilt!
Just gorgeous! I love both sides of it. Whoever receives this beauty will definitely be one lucky person!
I have never commented before, but I love your blog for inspiration and I check it all the time. I just wanted you to know that I voted for your quilt over at Stitched in Color. I really hope you will win. The prizes were great.
It's a lovely quilt – wherever it ends up!
This is a really cute quilt. The rocks are a genius idea too.
You do beautiful work, and I love this quilt so much, I bought the book and am going to try to tackle the quilt!
