now finally some pics of this quilt. i cannot seem to figure out an easy and pretty way to show quilts larger than baby size. in desperation, i though of this idea. so i found a couple of cleanish rocks, and here’s the quilt.
you can read more about how this quilt started here. i’m quite happy with how it turned out. it will be so fun for a little girl somewhere. (it’s a twin size)
using up my stash on the back. oh, that feels so good.
i guess if the recipient is really mod, they can use this side instead! i can’t decide where to send it… Bumblebeans?
Texas Wildfires?
any ideas?

I'm making child size quilts right now as part of Kate's 100 quilts for kids. I know that those can be donated to any charity that you want. Both of those you mentioned seem like a really great place to send quilts. I know that the TX Wildfire drive is looking for twin size quilts in particular which may be a little harder to come by. The quilt looks great so someone will be super happy to receive it no matter where you send it.

I love your pink quilt! As a rule, I'm not drawn to sampler type quilts, but yours flows so beautifully. You've nudged me to try a sampler. Beautiful!

Both the front and back are gorgeous. I like pieced back myself and what better way to use those pieces you have in your stash!
I try to most always leave something for a comment even though most aren't that original.

Love the colors in this quilt – and your use of different blocks. Looks modern even though it's a sampler. Sometime I think that's hard to do. LOVE IT!
