I’ve been on a roll with finishing up quilts! Our baby could be arriving this month, so I’m using the nesting urges to my advantage in the sewing room.
For years I've dreamed of writing a book about quilting. The type of book that I've felt is completely missing from the quilting world. More photos and inspiration, and less technical details and pages of writing. I've tried to accomplish that with my first book, which is self published and full of quilts, simple patterns, lots of talk about the quilts... and well, maybe that's enough for this paragraph! Visit the blog post for more details!
NOTE! My book is now available on Amazon as well!
I was laughing with you at the comment about using your phone camera. I forget sometimes to use it, and other times I just immediately snap a few shots. At any rate, you've made something lovely and shared it with us. Given everything else you have surrounding the impending arrival, excellent work.
I love it !! And thanks for the idea of what to do with all the 4-patches I make as leader/enders when making something else 🙂 Have "shoe boxes" full of them 🙂
It's a gorgeous baby quilt. My baby was born this month too… although it'll be 11 years ago next week.
I love this quilt, it ticks all my boxes of the perfect quilt. Good luck with the baby. My daughter was born next week 15 years ago 🙂
Oh, this quilt is fantabulous! It looks so soft and cuddly, and scrappy is my all time favorite! I AM a dinosaur. I don’t even have a cell phone.

What a great, classic design! Good luck with the baby.
What do you use as a tie when you do a tie quilt? It seems there are a few options, but I'd love to know what you use!
Sweet little quilt!
